The company Modern Metal was created in 1984 by Mr. Afif Ismail, after an experience of more than 15 years in mechanical welding in groups specializing in sheet metal work in the Rhône-Alpes region of France.
Modern Metal is part of a group of companies specializing in bar turning and boilers.
Modern Metal offers its customers in France, Italy, Germany and Tunisia an expertise and experience of over 35 years in the boilermaking and laser cutting trade; mechanical welding, sheet metal as well as assembly and ; industrial painting of metal parts. The company specializes in manufacturing metallic steel parts (thickness ranging from 0.6 mm to 20 mm), stainless steel (thickness ranging from 0.6 mm to 10 mm) and aluminum.

Since its creation, Moderne Metal has been committed to mastering every stage of the boiler-making expertise chain, guaranteeing impeccable quality and on-time delivery. Thanks to our flexible organization, we can meet the needs of both small production runs and large-scale production.
Our impressive infrastructure extends over 10 500 square meters, housing specialized workshops and a workforce of over 150 qualified experts, including workers, technicians and engineers. From boiler making to welding, metal surface treatment and digital machine control, every step is carefully optimized.
With a design office staffed by 7 engineers and a fleet of ultra-modern machines, we ensure state-of-the-art production. Our CNC-controlled equipment ensures unrivalled precision in laser cutting, punching and sheet metal bending. Finally, our workshop specialized in industrial painting and assembly completes the whole process, offering our customers a turnkey service, from design to delivery in Tunisia and Europe.

OUR PRODUCTION UNITS
Located in Masjed Issa, the sheet metal, paint and assembly unit covers an area of 5000 m2 and employs around a hundred workers and technicians specialized in sheet metal, welding and surface treatment.
The purchasing, design and industrialization departments are also close to production. Modern Metal also has several warehouses for storing raw materials, accessories and finished products.
The production capacity allows the processing of more than 3000 tons of sheet steel per year.
Located in Ksibet Mediouni in the Monastir region, the bar turning factory was created in 2005.
Today it covers an area of more than 1000 m2
